The hotel is situated in a stunning location, right on the Frisian lakes. The beautiful setting provides a perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. Additionally, the rooms come with a nice terrace where you can enjoy the scenic views while sipping your morning coffee. The attention to detail in the basic amenities is evident, making the stay comfortable and convenient.
No major issues were encountered during my stay.

The staff where welcoming and accommodating for what we needed. the evening meal was great and the room was brilliant. Couldn't believe it had a mini-kitchen, huge table, bath and shower... really great value for money. Wish we'd known in advance about the kitchen incl firdge / freezer and twin hob (bring all your own equipment incl. a pan!) The pool and rent-a-sauna was an extra bonus and really was a great way to relax.
the weather..... :( but more controllable, the breakfast was really not worth the 12.50E charge. I've had some better breakfasts at half that price. Especially annoying when the room had a kitchen.

Location and comfort are outstanding. A very large room with beautiful view on the yacht harbor, canal, and lake. Large bath and separate toilet. The best shower we've had in Europe. Very quiet location. Large indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi jets. Outstanding breakfast including a number of hot items. Very attentive and pleasant restaurant staff. Restaurant a little pricey but excellent food.
We would have very much liked a small refrig in the room. The room is large enough to accomodate one easily.

I had a great stay at this hotel on the waterfront, surrounded by the beautiful Frisian lakes. The prices were very reasonable, especially for an out-of-season visit, making it excellent value for money. The staff were welcoming and professional, and the rooms were large, modern, and well maintained. I particularly loved having a nice terrace to relax on. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a variety of options to choose from, and it really set me up for the day.
Nothing needed improvement.

Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was bright and large and had a kitchenette which was nice. The views were pretty. Breakfast was very good with a nice variety and all very fresh.
Travelling with 2 children and 2 teenagers I felt that the staff in the restaurant was reluctant to seat us in the 'nicer part' of the restaurant. We had a table away from other guests, and after half an hour of waiting in the almost empty restaurant had to call the waiter to order our food.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel on the waterfront in Friesland, Netherlands. The location was excellent, with wonderful views over the hotel's own yachting harbor and surrounding waterways. The big outside terrace was the perfect spot to enjoy the scenery. The staff were friendly and welcoming, ensuring that my stay was enjoyable from start to finish. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, with a nice terrace to relax on. The breakfast buffet was the best I've had in a long time, offering a wide variety of delicious options.
All was great, no improvements needed.

Being able to relax and having a nice meal at your hotel location. Loved the morning breakfast buffet included with room.
The only complaint I have is with the internet. It has only a half hour limit per room and it is also very slow. I would suggest that they upgrade there system to be like a normal hotel and have free wifi available all the time.

The facilities offered were excellent, with a heated indoor pool and a sauna available at an affordable hourly rate. the breakfast buffet was also a standout, with plenty of freshly made choices available. the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, with easy access to nearby attractions.
The dinner options were disappointing, with limited vegetarian choices and evidence of food being kept warm under a lamp. the furniture and decoration in the rooms looked outdated, and the bathroom was smaller than expected.
